Danish Energy Management has recently won a tender in Zanzibar for the Ministry of Water, Construction, Energy and Lands. Also, we have been shortlisted for the "Assistance to the modern solar pv development in Armenia”.

DEM to work with national energy policy in Zanzibar
We have just learned that we have won the tender “Development of Draft Energy Policy” with the Ministry of Water, Construction, Energy and Lands in Zanzibar.

The project is part of Phase I of an Energy Sector Program for Zanzibar. The overall objective of the project is to start the process of formulating a framework for energy that visibly contributes to the development of Zanzibar in an environmentally sound and socially equal manner. The project covers

• review and analysis of the current energy sector context and related documents
• facilitation of stakeholder consultation
• assistance in the development of a draft national energy policy of Zanzibar

Solar development in Armenia
We have recently been shortlisted for the World Bank project “Assistance to the modern solar pv development in Armenia”.

The main objective of the study is

• to assess modern PV production (cells, elements, components, units) development potential in Armenia from the point of view of comparative advantage for the country
• to create marketable end-products and/or maximum value added for all the value chain of modern PV production (“from mines to market”)

The deadline for submission of tender is April 4.
