Three short-listings in a week!

Last week, Danish Management Group was short-listed for no less than three assignments. The assignments range from document management to energy projects in countries as different as Rwanda and Russia.

Document management in Rwanda
Danish ICT Management and consortium partner Perspective Sarl from Rwanda were short-listed for the project Consultancy services for document management system for the Rwanda Information Technology Authority, RITA. Five other companies were short-listed: Coseke (K) ltd, DCDM Associates, MFI office solutions, Techno brain and Cell Edge.

The primary objective of the assignment is to enhance efficiency and services of the ministries and government agencies in Rwanda by deploying an ICT system that will

  • reduce the use of paper-based processing in public and private organizations
  • automate, accelerate and simplify administrative processes
  • eliminate petty corruption
  • measure the productivity of administrative staff
  • increase accountability and transparency
  • increase efficiency and recognize inefficiencies
  • increase confidence in the public sector
  • reduce the burden on the citizen to follow-up, thus reducing workload of employees

The budget is still unknown and deadline for submission of tender is 5 May.


Regulatory capacity for RE sources
Another short-listing is for Building Regulatory Capacity for Renewable Energy Sources.

This assignment includes

  • development of appropriate RES support schemes to accelerate market penetration
  • development of reliable and fraud-resistant systems for issuing guarantees of origin for RES
  • improved tariff setting for RES-based electricity and heat to provide sound and predictable price signals to prospective RES investors
  • training of SEWRC staff in best practice RES tariff regulation and support schemes
  • improving SEWRC’s internal organization in the area of RES regulation, including the establishment of regulatory data base for RES
  • development of a RES communications and public awareness strategy for SEWRC

The budget is 160,000 USD. The deadline has not been announced yet.


Promoting investments into energy savings projects
Finally, Danish Management and consortium partners Haskoning (lead) and Exergia were short-listed for the project Promoting investments into energy savings projects in Russia's regions.

The project is aimed at facilitating the use of advanced, efficient technologies and the spread of best practices in the framework of the EU–Russia Energy Dialogue. It shall also provide a facility for the stimulation of investment into projects aimed at increasing energy efficiency, and reducing GHG (greenhouse gases) emissions in selected Russian regions. The project will work with federal and regional government with the aim of establishing a policy framework that will eventually set targets on GHG emissions in selected regions. It will also work to securing funding for investments targeted at energy efficiency investment projects.

The budget is 3,000,000 EUR and the deadline for submission of tender is still unknown.
