We have recently received notice that we have been short-listed for the World Bank project called “Consultancy Services for Developing a Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for the East Africa Trade and Transport Facilitation Project”.
We were short-listed along with the following companies: - PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited, Uganda
- ITAD Limited, United Kingdom
- MMM Group (ND LEA), Canada
- Arch Design Limited, Uganda
- Consia Consultants, Denmark
The project involves the following tasks: - Analysing current data collection capacities
- Setting up a sustainable and appropriate monitoring and evaluation framework for the project, including designing of appropriate data collection instruments, methodology and analysis to be used to secure each indicator’s data
- Designing a simple data management system and its accompanying data collection processes for the project
- Writing a detailed manual of procedures clearly indicating who should do what and how, for data collection, centralization, processing, management and dissemination
- Training all staff who will play part in the use of the database and develop a data collection methodology for the Client for the subsequent monitoring and evaluation phases
- Test the developed M&E framework on project indicators for the year 2008
The budget and deadline for submission of tender is still unknown.
