Just before Christmas, Danish Energy Management won the EU contract “Monitoring of the Energy Facility”. The Energy Facility is a fund under EuropeAid for initiating energy projects in the ACP region. The Facility has hired DEM to assist EU delegations in supervising the projects implemented under the fund by developing a monitoring system for the projects, by reporting back on performance and by giving alerts in case the project implementers are not performing as planned. Moreover, DEM will be responsible for dissemination of results, experiences and lessons learned between the implementing actors and in the general public.
The contract budget is 6,7 million DKK, and the project will run over a 4 year period, starting on 1st of February this year.
