Danish Energy Management A/S (in association with e.Gen Consultants Ltd. from Bangladesh) has recently been pre-qualified for a grant  in a project financed by the Nordic Climate Facility/NEFCO.

The proposed project will secure a more efficient utilization of energy in the cement sector in Bangladesh. This will allow more energy to be available for other purposes, while at the same time creating local jobs and improving local air quality, as well as mitigating emissions of greenhouse gasses for the benefit of the global climate.

The tentative budget for the project is approximately 375.000,00 EUR, and the deadline for submission is 30 April, 2010.
