Danish Management has recently been shortlisted to submit proposals for two Results Oriented Monitoring projects in Zambia.
First, the “Improvement of Management Information System and Related Coordination mechanism,” which has as its objective the strengthening of the M&E systems and tools in three key, targeted sectors: Agriculture, energy and road infrastructure, and the establishment of viable linkages from these sectors to the central system at the Ministry of Finance and National Planning.
The second project, “Consulting Assignment for Improving Results based M&E and Central Coordination in target sectors”, is similar in nature, and aims to improve the basis for evidence-based decision making in policy and planning formulation processes by strengthening the overall M&E coordination function and introducing practices that enhance information sharing in the key sectors.
The respective budgets for the execution of these assignments are estimated at USD 67,000.00 and USD 165,000.00, while the closing dates for the receipt of bids are Friday 18th June, 2010, and Tuesday 15th June, 2010.
