Danish Energy Management has recently won the “Feasibility Study for the establishment of a Chinese Renewable Energy Centre - Survey on US RE Centers” and “Consultancy Services for the Development of a Building Control Act, Energy Efficiency Codes and Regulations and Compliance Mechanisms in Mauritius.”
The China-Denmark Renewable Energy Development (RED) Programme project “Feasibility Study for the establishment of a Chinese Renewable Energy Centre - Survey on US RE Centers” has been won alongside the assignment “Consultancy Services for the Development of a Building Control Act, Energy Efficiency Codes and Regulations and Compliance Mechanisms in Mauritius”.
The aim of the RED project, with a budget of around 873.000 DKK, is to assist in the establishment of China's National Renewable Energy Centre (REC) by providing a thorough survey of US energy centres to serve as inspiration.
In Mauritius, meanwhile, the overarching objective is to implement energy efficiency and incorporate to the highest possible extent the use of renewable energy in the design of building construction in general, and modernization of existing legislative framework, taking into account the climate change dimension. The budget for this project is approximately 190,000 USD.
