We have just learned that we submitted the winning tender for the DANIDA-funded assignment “Mapping of the Energy Sector and identification of focus sub-sectors for support by Danida Business Finance and Partnerships Programmes, Vietnam”.

The overall objective of the assignment is to conduct a study, which provides:

1. An in-depth overview of the energy sector in Vietnam, including policy environment, opportunities, risks, and financing gaps/challenges;

2. An identification and assessment of future sub-sector focus for the Danida Business Partnerships and Finance Programme within renewable energy and energy efficiency during the transition period (2011-2015).

3. An assessment and recommendation of a few (max. 3) feasible new Danish initiatives within renewable energy and energy efficiency.

The assignment runs from 1st September to 1st November 2011 and the budget is 354,420 DKK.
