The Bangladesh office have invested in a IPS (interrupted power supply) System
The IPS works Like a big battery, if there is a power cut off, the computers and other IT equipment can use the IPS as power supplier. Here is what Sanjib tells about the IPS System:

ImageBDTech Computers was the supplier of the IPS system. They surveyed the office premises.
Technicians came and installed the IPS system in 1 day.
We tested the system by basically cutting off the mains power switch to our office floor. We have also had the opportunity recently when we actually had a live power failure a few days ago.
Technically, the IPS will support up to 5 computers. Currently we have 4 computers and various hardware connected to the IPS system:
  • Internet router, switch and fiber optic transcoder
  • Development server
  • Zia’s computer
  • Kaiser’s computer
  • Sanjib’s computer

Post-installation support from the IPS supplier includes 1 year warranty of the IPS batteries. They will also provide free quarterly servicing of the batteries for 1 year.
