Danish Management Group submitted a tender to the East African Community as the lead of a consortium with DataVision International from Tanzania as a partner. With an approximate budget of EUR 500,000 the main objective of the project is to put in place a statistical system at the EAC Secretariat that will facilitate the process of harmonising the definitions, concepts and methodologies of compiling the identified regional indicators in the Partner States established by December 31st 2008.
 

On Monday, 28 August, we were informed that our tender passed the technical evaluation. The opening of the financial proposals has been postponed until approximately 12 September.
 
In addition to the above-mentioned tenders, Danish Management Group and DataVision as a consortium are also awaiting the outcome of two other Tanzanian tenders - Evaluation of Energy, as well as a tender to carry out monitoring and evaluation for the Ministry of Agriculture. The consortium has also been shortlisted for a Danida project to evaluate the health sector in Tanzania.
