By Maria J. Vazquez
Danish Energy Management is one of the members of the consortium led by the Finnish company Pöyry Energy Oy (former Ekonowatt), which together with Kantor Management Consultants (Greece), JSC IKT-Consult (Russia) and Pöyry Building Services Oy (Finland) will be bidding for this project.
The project will be developed according to the following three interrelated components:

- Design and testing feasible combination of models, a road map for immediate, short-term and long-term improvement of the energy efficiency and energy savings. One pilot intervention for each region will be selected.
- Design and implementation of an information programme on the three pilot interventions and their results.
The tender dossier has already been received and the deadline for submission of our proposal is Friday, 7 July 2006 at 4 p.m. local time.
Danish Energy Management will be competing directly against 7 consortiums, two of which are led by Danish companies, i.e. Carl Bro and COWI. The other 5 consortium leaders are: AEA Technology plc (GB), AF-Process AB (SE), Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH (DENA) (DE), Lahmeyer International GmbH (DE) and National Pollution Abatement Facility (NPAF) (RU).
