Danish Management Group will promote ICT utilisation in business through increased awareness of the benefits of ICT in business operations.
In competition with 5 other strong consortia,
Danish Management Group won the EC project eKarelia:
assistance to local business support structures in providing
sustainable ICT-related accessibility, training and business
development for enterprises.
Helsinki Consulting Group is lead firm in a consortium with Danish ICT Management and Petrozavodsk State University.
The Tender budget is EUR 2,000,000
Project Background
The
wider objective of this project is to foster economic growth and
competitiveness in the Republic of Karelia through the development of
accessibility of ICT to enterprises and support to increased use of
advanced information technology.
In this context the project
will promote ICT utilisation in business through increased awareness of
benefits of ICT in business operations; provide enterprises in the
Republic of Karelia with access to ICT services; establish, in
cooperation with existing portals, the capacity for providing
coordinated web visibility for Karelian businesses; plan and implement
transfer of knowledge on state-of-the-art expertise in ICT: provide a
business plan for developing GIS-services for the business sector;
carry out a feasibility study on possibilities of web-based trade in
the Republic of Karelia.
