Project Title: Uganda: Energy for Rural Transformation Project: Implementation of a Monitoring and Evaluation Plan for Energy for Rural Transformation Program

Brief Project Description:
The objective of this consultancy is, based on preliminary monitoring and evaluation work already carried out to develop survey instruments, to implement a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) program for the ERT program in Uganda. The monitoring and evaluation program carried out by Danish Management Group will provide baseline information on the status of some communities before the implementation of the energy programs, and monitor the full impact of the program as it develops.

The overall aim of this M&E program is to establish the effectiveness of the rural transformation approach of the ERT program, i.e., the extent to which the ERT program has been successful in improving the quality of rural life and increasing rural non-farm incomes.

Project Title:Consultancy Services for the Regional Information Communication and Technology support programme for the Eastern and Southern African Region

Brief Project Description:
The overall objective of the Regional Information Communication Technology Support Programme (RICTSP) is to contribute to the Eastern and Southern African regional agenda for economic integration through efficient and effective Information Communication and Technology environment.

Danish Management Group is providing assistance to achieve a reduction in the digital divide by removing some of the constraints to the efficient use of ICTs faced by stakeholders, including those to do with the regulatory environment, poor communications infrastructures, poor access to information useful to entrepreneurs, and low skills levels.

This project will throughout its duration support the  Common market for Easter and Southern Africa (COMESA), the East African Community (EAC), the Inter Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC), and its member states; and it will reduce the digital divide by removing some of the constraints to efficient use of ICT.
